Mount Making
The tutor Luke Anthony has 8 years of experience in diamond mounting. During the course, using silver, students will make round brilliant claw/rub over collet, with and without daylight gallery. Princess cut claw set and rubover with daylight gallery and a solid. 2 types of shanks for receiving these types of mounts. One shank being a wide shank to receive princess cut collet. On the final day students will make a cluster pendant. They will also learn re-modeling design and soldering collets in plaster.
