at the University of Central England in
Birmingham's jewellery quarter. He is an

On our course many different
types of settings are acheived. These include
- different types of claw settings, channel
set, rub over and star settings that may
be carried through to pave. Other settings
may be acheived if students have any particular
setting you wish to learn that has not been
mentioned.
The casting mounts used for
your stone setting projects together with
the stones are not included in the course
fee. These costs are payable during the
course, depending on how many and what type
of mounts you will use. These are then yours
to take home.

Students who have their own gravers and
scorpers are asked to bring them with them.
For students who do not have these tools,
they are available to use during the course.
Gravers and scorpers are available to borrow
for the course. The course may be either
a 4 or 5 day duration, please check with
the availbility sheet.
