Master Class Wire Wrapping
The tutor Rachel Murgatroyd is doing a Master Class to include superb extra skills for those who have already attended the beginners course in wire wrapping. Students need to have honed their skills in practice at home and be confident with the wire and tools. This course will cover wire weaving.

On the two day course students will design and create a full set of faceted gemstone jewellery, earrings, pendant and Bracelet/Bangle. Emphasis in this course will be the fine detail that is needed to create a piece of desirable jewellery. When designing we will focus on what the medium will and won’t do and extra care needed when using faceted gemstones. We will also cover an introduction to wire weaving, where sterling silver and fine silver are used to create stunning organic pieces of jewellery. The weaving process is a wonderful addition to any wire workers repertoire. The two days will end as usual by admiring your delightful creations

All materials for the course including sterling silver wire and faceted gemstones for the jewellery set plus 0.8mm round wire and a 30gm reel of fine silver (pure silver) wire for the weaving, will be £150.00.
